Introduction to Sailing (1-day)
Have you always dreamt of sailing but lack the means of knowing how? Our one-day Introduction to Sailing course is designed to teach novice sailors yachting basics whilst enjoying a day out on the water. You will learn anchoring techniques, how to steer a yacht, sail handling, and ropework, while also becoming aware of the standard safety procedures and possible hazards aboard a yacht.
This course is sure to whet your appetite for learning basic nautical navigation and begin you on your path to becoming a master of the sea. Best of all, no prior sailing experience is required!

Learn Yachting Basics
When onboard our RYA approved training vessel, our friendly and approachable instructor will guide you through basic marine navigation from their years of sailing experience and adventures on the sea.

- How to tack and gybe
- Ropework & knots

- Sail trimming
This course is suitable for sailors of all ages and skill levels, and costs $400 per person, or $360pp for groups of 2 or more. If you are interested in engaging with our other RYA courses, this is the perfect way to learn the required fundamentals.

We are based in Wynnum-Manly, Southeast Queensland and conduct all our sailing courses in the nearby Moreton Bay area. The bay area is simply a dream when navigated by yacht and you will be enjoying some of the best sights Australia has to offer as you sail these pristine waters. The area is populated by the likes of dolphins, turtles, dugongs, and even whales, making them the perfect companions as you learn anchoring and basic nautical navigation.
